Wave2Wave Solution Corp. was recently awarded the Minority Business Enterprise Supplier Certification from The Northern California Minority Supplier Development Council (NCMSDC), a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting diversity in the marketplace. NCMSDC is an affiliate of NMSDC, Inc., a national organization made up of 37 regional councils with a combined constituency of over 15,000 certified MBE (Minority Business Enterprise) suppliers and 3,500 corporate members, including most of America's largest publicly-owned, privately-owned, and foreign-owned companies, as well as universities, hospitals, and other buying institutions. NCMSDC serves the Northern California region and the state of Hawaii. This certification acknowledges Wave2Wave Solution Corporation as a prosperous minority owned business. Wave2Wave passed rigorous application requirements such as a financial review as well as an in depth review of operational procedures and practices within the company. Wave2Wave Solution Corp. is very proud of its recent certification and looks ahead to a bright future.

Wave2Wave released new product- HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface). HDMI is the first and only industry-supported, uncompressed, all-digital audio/video interface. By delivering crystal-clear, all-digital audio and video via a single cable, HDMI dramatically simplifies cabling and helps provide consumers with the highest-quality home theater experience. . HDMI provides an interface between any audio/video source, such as a set-top box, DVD player, or A/V receiver and an audio and/or video monitor, such as a digital television (DTV), over a single cable.

Wave2Wave is pleased to announce our expansion into the Southern California region, and has hired Mr. Stan Chan as Business Development Manager.  Stan Chan comes to Wave2Wave with an expanse of industry expertise in both Audio/Video, structured cabling, as well as experience in copper and fiber products, and brings a wealth of knowledge dealing with large OEM customer relationships. 

Mr. Chan will be supporting our Reseller Channel not only in Southern California, but across the Americas region.  A native of Hawaii, he was also educated in Southern California (Cal-Poly Pomona University).  Stan’s diverse background brings a refreshing new twist to the Wave2Wave family as it strides forward with its growth initiatives.  Please join us in welcoming Stan to our Wave2Wave team.

Wave2Wave is pleased to announce the recent expansion of our facilities at our Headquarters in Milpitas, California.  We have added 7,500 additional square feet, taking our production and warehouse space to a total of 15,000 square feet. This expansion serves multiple purposes.  We have significantly increased our production capacity of copper cables, and expanded our fiber testing and resorting capabilities.  Our increase in warehouse space allows us to raise local inventory levels, as well as decrease turnaround time on domestic orders.  We now ship a very large percentage of our customers’ orders the day the order is received. 

As other companies in the current economy are slashing costs, and reducing their US based workforce, once again, Wave2Wave did just the opposite.  Being a local resource has always been a key to the success of our distribution channel partners, and this expansion will insure that our capabilities match our distributors’ ever growing demand.  We also believe that it is much more environmentally friendly to perform production and services locally, as well as reducing the shipment transit from overseas.  This not only reduces cost and delivery time for the customer, but also reduces the impact to the environment.

Wave2Wave Solution Corp. announced today that it has been awarded a U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) contract, allowing it to supply various products from its broad product offering to government facilities. The contract number, GS-35F-0352V, ensures that Wave2Wave is a recognized and able supplier of products for government use. In addition, it provides assurance that Wave2Wave Solution Corp. products are quality and the company model is ethical and professional.

On March 5, 2009, Wave2Wave released a new product called Bend Insensitive Fiber Patch Cord (BIF).  BIF features small micro bending loss in the 7 to 15 mm bend radius range, which reduces the space required for fiber management and bending, as well as a release for installation tolerance to simplify deployment.  An additional product feature is its compatibility with other ITU-T G.652 SMF Standards.  One benefit to this is the inherent minimum insertion loss when connected to other G.652 fiber and patch chords.   Also, it simplifies the fusion processes, and produces very low excess loss when used in the mm bend radius range.  This feature enables a tight in-building installation and eliminates fiber coating damage, when used in high power systems.  Please contact your local Wave2Wave Representative for further details.
