Hackers on Planet Earth – Part 2

Author: David Wang   Publication Date: August 9, 2016

This year’s Hackers on Planet Earth (H.O.P.E) event in New York, supported by Wave2Wave optical cable for reliable connectivity, was a sold-out success!

Many think that The Eleventh H.O.P.E. is a conference full of hackers, which isn’t true. In fact, you are more likely to get hacked sitting at home than attending the conference. They featured talks, workshops and movie screenings to a full audience of young professionals, security engineers and people simply interested in the content of the event.

Thanks to the support of our optical cable, H.O.P.E. had their fastest turn-up of connectivity. With the constant flow of users on the floor, 24 hours a day for the entire conference, having reliable network uptime was of high importance, along with staffing the network operating center (NOC).

As a company, we are about connectivity, as well as people. By supplying our cabling to H.O.P.E., we did just that.
